![]() ![]() It's far more than just "tap to block for a few frames" which is really cool. or even counterattack, if I saw what I did right. Some characters get a directional dodge, others get a boost in the direction they're moving already, while others combo it with their attacks to either drastically change them (Milla) or setup longer chains. While it's far more split-second than I expected it to be (almost blink and you'll miss it), I was impressed by how each character reacts to guard in their own way. I ended up assigning Jump to A, regular attack to X, then special and guard to the shoulder buttons. I did have to play around with the controls for a while before I found a configuration I felt comfortable with on my gamepad. Smooth, awesome animation, what feels like an impressively deep combat system already, and classic platforming fun. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
